Visual effects Supervisor at WeFX Seth Martiniuk

After a thought provoking turn at UofT where he received a BA in Philosophy, Seth turned his attention to more profitable ventures, making home-made movies where he taught himself to shoot, edit, create 3d images and composite them. This was so much fun he decided to do it professionally as a compositor,  starting in Toronto and working around the world on projects such as The Force Awakens, The Hobbit 1, 2, & 3, and Life of Pi. He brings over 22 years of experience to his role as VFX Supervisor at WeFX.

Seth’s love for movies started early in life, enthralled by fantastic imagery in films like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. The impossible was made possible on screen and he was fascinated by the process of how those images were created. He credits his parents for providing books on visual effects as a first step towards becoming part of the process.
