Compositing Supervisor at WeFX Scott Buda

Scott's prideful projects include his work on Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water" which won Best Picture (among others) in the 90th Academy Awards. Also leading his compositing team as supervisor on Season 2 of "See" which had won Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Photoreal Episode at the VES Awards. Other titles as compositing supervisor include, "What we do in the Shadows - Season 4", "The Fall of The House of Usher", and "Halo - Season 2".

Outside of VFX, Scott enjoys the outdoors and fitness which pairs well with his overwhelming love for dogs. Last but not least and quite contrasting, Scott is an avid PC gamer.

Scott was introduced to VFX after completing a 3 year Graphic Design program, leading into a post-grad year in Digital Post Production at Fanshawe College. Mostly enjoying the Photoshop side of Graphic Design, and with a taste for realism, it was a logical step to find himself quite comfortable in a Compositing role.
