VFX Supervisor
I started my career as a 3D animator specializing in commercials in Iran during the late 1990s. In 2000, I took a pivotal step by relocating to Toronto, where I transitioned my expertise into multimedia and motion graphics. By 2002, I had integrated into the world of VFX.
My approach to work is deeply collaborative, and I thrive as a creative partner alongside fellow visionaries. My role often transcends the boundaries of VFX, allowing me to make contributions to projects. My passion for this medium continues to evolve, exemplified by my role as the Art Director for NFB's "The Book of Distance," an interactive VR animated short that garnered accolades, including the prestigious Best Immersive Experience award at the Canadian Screen Awards.
Over the years, my creative canvas has broadened, encompassing an extensive range of projects. My portfolio includes contributions to Feature Films, TV Series, Documentary Features and Series, Specials, Animated Series, Music Videos, Commercials, and more. I've also developed captivating Opening Title Sequences and awards-style Graphic Packages, as well as in-show technical animations and designs.
Furthermore, my extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Photography and Cinematography have proven invaluable on set and in guiding and training artists.
